In nature, more than 2,000 species of mushrooms exist, but 25 species of mushrooms are widely accepted as food and few are commercially cultivated. Mushrooms can be enjoyed at various times, but including them as part of a balanced meal in our daily routine. India is seems to be a major player in the global mushroom market. The growing demand for mushroom are emerges out dominantly in Market. Mushroom cultivation proved to be a highly profitable profession in the agricultural sector. Additionally, out of different types of Mushroom, button mushrooms are highly grown, in small fields and boosted their popularity. Among the various types of mushrooms, the button mushroom has a high demand variety in India. It is seems to be extensively used in diverse cuisines. They are valued for its therapeutic benefits. Button mushrooms are not only delicious in taste but also rich in more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They are staple diet of health-conscious for all over the world.
