Biography:

Dr. Vasanth Kannan is a Senior House Officer at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, United Kingdom, with over 2.5 years of experience in general internal medicine and acute care. He has a growing interest in diabetes and endocrinology and is committed to advancing patient care through evidence-based practice. He is actively involved in professional development and academic activities, and will be presenting his work at the 14th World Congress on Diabetes & Endocrinology in London, June 2026.

Research Interests:

Dr. Vasanth Kannan’s research interests lie in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology and general internal medicine, with a focus on improving patient outcomes in acute and chronic care settings. He is particularly interested in evidence-based management of metabolic disorders, early diagnosis and optimization of treatment strategies for diabetes-related complications. His academic pursuits also include quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and research aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery in hospital settings. Additionally, he is keen on contributing to ongoing advancements in endocrinology through research dissemination and active participation in international scientific forums.
