The YBX1-PDX1-TFAM Axis Ameliorates Islet beta-Cell Senescence and Improves T2DM Progression by Inhibiting Ferroptosis-Mediated mtDNA Release

Biography:

Ms. Xiangling Li is currently a PhD Candidate at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Guangxi University. Her research focuses on endocrine metabolism and diseases, mainly involving pancreatic β-cell protection and cellular senescence in type 2 diabetes. She has participated in multiple scientific research projects. Notably, her core research findings have been accepted by a journal with an impact factor greater than 10, pending formal publication, providing promising therapeutic targets for diabetic intervention.

Research Interests:

Ms. Xiangling Li’s research interests center on endocrine metabolism and metabolic diseases, with a particular emphasis on the pathogenesis and therapeutic intervention of type 2 diabetes. Her work primarily investigates pancreatic β-cell protection, cellular senescence and the molecular mechanisms underlying β-cell dysfunction in diabetic conditions. She is also interested in identifying novel therapeutic targets and developing strategies to prevent or delay diabetes-related metabolic impairment. Through her participation in multiple scientific research projects, she has contributed to advancing the understanding of diabetes progression and endocrine regulation, with her recent high-impact findings offering potential translational applications for diabetic treatment and intervention.
